The barn on Birch Meadow Farm, Norman Road, will be among the some 50 photographs and slides of local barns to be shown at Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center May 27, 7 p.m. Owned by Annabelle and Grace Birkestol, the barn is on the Washington State Heritage Barn Register. It was built in 1886 and was named a Snohomish County Centennial Farm in 2007. Gerald Magelssen, who grew up on a Camano farm, has taken photographs of barns in Stanwood, Silvana, Arlington and other areas, and will share them at the Thursday presentation.
