Sparts’ hoop season ends with district loss
Just a week and a half after clinching a share of the WesCo 4A North Division boys’ basketball title, the Stanwood Spartans (11-4 in league, 14-9 overall) were eliminated from the 4A District I championships with a discouraging 58-54 loss to the visiting Edmonds- Woodway Warriors last Wednesday night. 2011 grad Alisa Stang swims in NWC Championships
Stanwood High graduate with the class of 2011, Alisa Stang, is competing for the Whitworth University women’s swim team this season.
As a member of the Spokane-based squad, Stang participated last weekend at the Northwest Conference Swimming Championships held at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way. Full Story
