A new website promoting local agriculture, CSAFarms.com, named Stanwood’s Klesick Family Farm the state’s best community supported agriculture (CSA) farm last week.
“It’s an honor,” said owner Tristan Klesick from Spokane Thursday, where he was attending a conference on healthy food.

Jurors decided last Wednesday that Garrett Turski, 21, of Camano Island, was guilty of vehicular homicide in connection with the 2010 death of Stanwood teenager Ellen Floyd.
Turski is scheduled to be sentenced March 7, and could face up to three years in prison. Full Story
