Hayden Ryan Schmidt was born to Cassie and Ryan Schmidt of Mountain Home, Idaho Jan. 25, 2012 at 1: 28 p. m. weighing 5 pounds, 12.2 ounces and was 18” long. The little guy, who was two months early, joins a sister, Hailey Ann, almost 3. Full Story

EARLY HISTORY
Rasmus Boe was born Feb. 19, 1902 in Denmark and at the age of 7, moved with family to Cedarhome. When interviewed at age 100, he staked claim to having named Sunday Lake, east of Stanwood. Martha Eide was born in 1902 to pioneer parents Ole and Kirsti, and grew up to become a teacher for 40 years, starting at Warm Beach. Full Story
