Feb. 12, learn to Geocache in a beginners class, noon-2 p.m. at Cama Center, located in Cama Beach State Park. Learn to play this game of real world hide and seek with GPS from experienced players. Tours of Cama cabins and new trails are 1 and 2 p.m.; tour the Center for Wooden Boats at Cama Beach historic Boathouse, 1 and 2 p.m. Discover passes will be necessary for all vehicles.

Driving program
AARP Driver Safety Program is for older drivers, at Camano Center Feb. 24, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 606 Arrowhead Road, 387-0222 to register. Linda Rubadue, instructor. Upon completion of the 8-hour course, drivers 55 years and older qualify for a state mandated discount on auto insurance.

Pick up litter
Friends of Camano Island Parks will have a work party Sat, Feb. 11, to pick up litter on Camano roads near the state parks. Meet at the Elger Bay Store at 9:30 a.m. for 1.5 hours of litter pick up. How to help birds
Weather conditions in winter present many challenges for resident and migratory birds. Learn ways you can help meet their needs for water and food during this critical period. Ani Gurnee, naturalist and landscape designer, will discuss how to select seed and feeders targeted to specific species and which trees and shrubs to plant that will provide food and shelter. The Wed, Feb. 15, program begins at 7 p.m. at the Camano Multipurpose Center (Blue Building), 141 East Camano Drive. This presentation is part of a public education series hosted the third Wednesday of the month by the Camano Wildlife Habitat Project, sponsored by Friends of Camano Island Parks, as part of the Island County wa- tershed project. Buffet brunch
The public is invited to eat buffet brunch at the Camano Island Yacht Club, 129 N. Sunset Drive, Sun, Feb. 12, 9 a.m. to noon. The menu includes bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, omelets, hash browns, pancakes, fresh fruit, sweet rolls, juices, coffee and tea. Adult and children’s tickets are available.
Sweetheart dance
A Valentine’s Dance will be held at the Camano Center Sat, Feb. 11, 7-10 p.m. Bring your sweetheart and enjoy the big band sound of Camano Junction.
