Wed, Jan. 25 starting at 10 pm
Barring any major storm, beginning tomorrow evening, Wednesday, January 25, the PUD will be replacing a bad conductor on a major transmission line serving Camano Island. The PUD estimates the work time to replace this conductor will be five to seven hours, during which time power will not be available anywhere on Camano Island. Full Story

LAWRENCE RAPHEAL ZENT
November 1, 1947- December 4, 2011
Lawrence Rapheal Zent, "Larry" was born Nov. 1, 1947 in Eldgin, N.D., raised in Seattle and passed to be with Jesus on Dec. 4, 2011, after his long struggle with heart failure, surrounded by his love ones.
Survived by his daughters Sandi and Carol and all his grandchildren. Full Story
PAMELA M. HAFNER-OTTERSON
Born Dec. 4, 1940, in Bellingham, Pamela Hafner Otterson was the only daughter of Edith and Sheldon York.
She did have three other half siblings of which two preceded her in death, Virgil York and Arlene Hasse.
Pam loved the Bellingham area and was involved in many activities including cheerleading and the drill team at Meridian High School. Full Story
