Not guilty plea in Ellen Floyd’s death
Turski arraigned in Superior Court
Camano Island man Garrett Turski, 20, was arraigned in Snohomish County Superior Court last Wednesday in connection with the April 10, 2010 death of Ellen Floyd.
Turski pleaded not guilty to felony charges of vehicular homicide.
Turski maintained that he doesn’t recall what happened, and his family said there’s no proof he was driving. Full Story

July 28, 1953 - April 10, 2011
Elizabeth Hanousek, 57, of Camano Island, passed away this week after succumbing to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
Elizabeth will be remembered as a loving mother, for her kind spirit and love of animals.
She is survived by her two sons, Garett and Brennan. Full Story
