KATHY M (IOWA) LUND

Kathy M (Iowa) Lund passed away peacefully on August 24, 2010, with her daughter Stephanie at her side. Kathy was born in Portland, Oregon, to parents Charles and Rose Iowa on July 14, 1945.

She grew up in Colorado and graduated from Adams City High School in 1963.

Kathy moved to Stanwood over 30 years ago, where she worked as a cook.

Kathy is survived by her children Robin Moore, Vince Wallett, Stephanie (Wallett) England and Misty Mae Williams, grandchildren Tory Allen England, Christopher Thomas Ironwing, Desi Nichole Moore, Jordyn Brittnee England, Grady Joseph and Ryan Samuel Snow, great-grandchild Dominick Ironwing, and her dearest friend Liz Mills.

Kathy’s true love was her horses. She rode in parades and went on mountain rides. She also loved watching granddaughter Jordyn play sports.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at the Viking Restaurant on September 11 at 3 p.m.
