Phat (Peter) Mai had the biggest hit at the Camano Island Senior Tennis Tournament. The champions of the match, however, were Richard Kovack and Bob Waskom, who outscored Rob Krause and Jim Richeson 6-3 in a doubles match. The tournament had 26 participants, men and women. For the women the highest score was by Linda Wilson, who teamed up with Fred Addi for a win over Yvonne Collins and Chuck Ruscha, in the consolation round. Prizes were awarded at the afternoon barbecue with the popular chicken provided by Mai.
