Speaker shares adventures of Norway
Doug Miner, of Seattle, recently won first prize of $50,000 and a chance to connect with 100 of his Norwegian relatives in Norway. The public is invited to hear Doug’s presentation at the Ingeborg Lodge #43, Daughters of Norway meeting Sat, Sept. 11, 9:45 a.m. Doug’s great-grandmother came from Lomeland in Helleland, county of Rogaland, Norway. He will relate his adventures in Norway and share pictures taken during the reality show competition of Alt for Norge (translates to All for Norway).
