Aug. 12

Kayak Point Ladies Golf Club gathered for a game of Sub Par Hole Aug. 12 and the winners in the first flight were Dorothy Pollard and Eva Hamilton, who tied with a score of 61, followed by Shelly Rubatino, 63. In the second flight, Eva Robins scored 62 and Nancy Hughes scored 68.

Kayak Point Ladies Golf Club gathered for a game of Ts and Fs, and the winners were Eva Hamilton 33, and Dorothy Pollard 34 in the first flight, and Lois Anderson 32, and Linda Duffield, 32 ½ in the second flight.

Camaloch Men’s Club

Aug. 25 On Aug. 25, 114 players showed up for the Camaloch Men’s Club Low Net & Low Putts by flight competition and the winners were:

First fligh (CH 0 to 15): Scott Stensen 66, Bill Dreyer 68, Gary Carlson, Tim Fagan and Phil Ruckman 70.

Second flight (CH 16 to 19): Greg Hayenga 61, Mike O’Brien 64, Darrell Bergam, Bob Rist, Rob Brinkley 68.

Third flight (CH 20 to 25): Bart Hooper 67, Joe DeFelice and Gene Biernot 68, Don Scott 69

Fourth flight (CH 26 to 36): Ken Peterson 65, Jim Shewfelt 66, Rich Eller and George Clifford 68.

Low putts by flight:

1-F Bill Dreyer 29, 2- F Dean Olson 29, 3-F Joe DeFelice 30, 4-F Ken Peterson 29.

Aug. 26

Kayak Point Ladies Golf Club gathered for a game of Monthly Medal Aug. 26 and the medal winner was Mary Hutchinson, who scored 66. In the first flight, Shelly Rubatino and Gini Henderson tied with 71, and in the second flight, Nancy Hughes scored 73.

The club championship winner was Dorothy Pollard with 247 and Shelly Rubatino with 264. In the 2010 putting tournament, Lois Anderson won with 60 and the runner up was Eva Hamilton, 63.

Hole-in-one at Camaloch

Patrick J. Tuttle hit a hole-in-one July 23 at Camaloch Golf Course. He used a 3 iron for a 177 yard stroke on hole 13.
