Signs
Newcomers don’t know our needs
Dear Editor:
In the last week’s NEWS,
Liz Tarbet’s letter to the editor about a particular politician’s excess signage along Camano Island’s roadways hit the mark right on.
Most of us realize politicians need to post their signs for obvious reasons. However, when the volume of signs turns into landscape pollutions, one has to wonder about that person’s personal integrity.
Island County needs the voice of John Dean, who has lived and participated in the history of this area for more than 40 years. Newcomers can’t know the history of our needs. John Dean is real. He has heart. I trust him.
