Prosecute all lawbreakers

Dear Editor:

This is in response to the letter “Candidate owes residents an apology.”

Liz Tarbet, you accuse Kelly Emerson of being ignorant of the law in regards to posting political signs.

During an election year you see political signs on roadsides. It is the American way to express our freedom of choice for our candidates.

You are saying then that we have weekend lawbreakers posting garage sale signs, notices for birthday parties, wedding parties and other political candidates.

Kelly is not the only one who has put signs up, although it sounds like you are singling her out.

Our own commissioner of District 3 has a sign posted on a utility pole, which is highly illegal – not even garage sale signs may be posted on them.

I have photos of this.

So, before you accuse one candidate, you better investigate your candidate and admit he owes the residents of Camano an apology also!

Perhaps you will fight for all “lawbreakers” to be prosecuted!
