Infant rescue carrier funded


From left, rescue pilot Steve Klett, helicopter rescue technician Randy Fay and Ken Lakey, former helicopter crew chief, are officers of Snohomish County Volunteer Search and Rescue, which received a grant from the Everett Clinic Foundation to purchase a pediatric rescue carrier. Designed to safely extract infants and pediatrics, the rescue carrier is used during helicopter rescue operations during flood events or other disasters where families need emergency evacuation.
