60th anniversary

Richard (Dick) and Mary Lynch of Camano Island celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 25. They were married in Yakima in 1950, and lived in Ellensburg until 1983, but between 1977 and 1996, they often came to their south Camano Island beach cabin. The winter storm of ’96 completely destroyed it. They lived in several communities including Issaquah, Bellevue and Everett, before settling on Camano Island. They are members of Camano Chapel. Together they have three children, Kathryn (Kent), Steve (Janice) and David (Julia), and two grandchildren, Abbie and Bradley. A small family gathering to celebrate their special day was held Aug. 21 on Camano Island. Richard (Dick) and Mary Lynch of Camano Island celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 25.
