DOREEN ALICE HAFFT
June 25, 1926 - August 15, 2010
Doreen Alice Hafft was born in Vancouver, B.C., June 25, 1926, and passed away August 15, 2010, after a brief stay in the hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward B. Hafft, as well as her two sisters, Mary and Norma. She is survived and will be dearly missed by a sister in-law, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Doreen was well known and respected in the business community, having had an accounting business for many years in Seattle. She will be lovingly remembered by all those fortunate to have known her as very caring and generous; she had a definite love of life and enjoyed her many parties at her home.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, 1 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Gilbertson Funeral Home in Stanwood.
A celebration of Doreen's life will be held Thursday, Sept. 2, 11 a.m. at Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Stanwood, followed by a reception at Camano Island Senior & Community Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Utsalady Ladies Aid, 61 Vista Del Mar, Camano Island, Wash., 98282.
