100 YEARS AGO (1910)
Utsaladdy was honored with an up-to-date troup, the first in 20 years. The Stanwood Fire Dept. received caps and coats for its members. The Concord Grange of Camano had its annual picnic at Utsaladdy. Andrew Erickson, born in Sweden in 1884, married Hanna Anderson in Bellingham Aug. 19, 1910 and moved to Cedarhome in 1913. Full Story

Second Passport to Art this Friday, Aug. 27
The community is invited to join the second of three summertime art walks, to meet the artists and enjoy the creative ambiance on 271st Street in historic east Stanwood.
