LOUIS WHITE
December 14, 1925 - July 24, 2010
Louis White passed quietly at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett Washington, after a long bout with Alzheimer's disease. His loving wife of 62 years preceded his death in June of 2009. Louis was born in Rock Island, Texas.

Louis is survived by his two sons, Mark and Scott White, grandson Matthew (Amanda) White, granddaughters Andrea White, Janice (Chris) Martin, Jennifer White and greatgranddaughters Eve and Bella White.
While living in the Shoreline neighborhood for many years, Louis and Jeanine were members of Seattle's First Free Methodist Church. Louis faithfully served as usher every Sunday and he participated on various committees.
He was prominent in his community for cooking up the best Texas BBQ for both his family celebrations and various church gatherings. His family recounts many fond memories of those good old barbecues. He made the best BBQ on the West Coast.
Louis always expressed love and affection for his children. Family was very important to him.
Louis and Jeanine moved to the Warm Beach Senior Community Center in Stanwood in 2004. He was active in community affairs.
Louis was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the Escort Carrier USS Natoma Bay during the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
There will be an urn placement ceremony on August 14, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Abbey View Memorial Park in Brier, Wash.
