Dog wash to benefit CASA
Fourth annual public dog wash Saturday, Aug. 21
Dogs, large and small, are invited to come for a bath at the Camano Island Animal Shelter Saturday, Aug. 21, a major fundraiser for CASA, the Camano Animal Shelter Association.
This is the fourth annual public dog wash. One of the group’s larger fundraisers, last year more than 60 volunteers participated and 123 dogs were bathed, netting more than $3,500 for CASA. Full Story

Chamber of commerce takes a field trip to a local horse farm
Local business men and women will have an equestrian experience next week, when the Stanwood Chamber of Commerce August meeting features a field trip to R.O. Lervick Arabians Ranch Thursday, Aug. 12.
Chamber members and friends will meet at the ranch at 11:30 a.m. and enjoy a tour. Full Story
