NW United GU12 soccer team placed first in the Adidas Beaverton Cup 2010 in Beaverton, Ore., July 16-18. The girls played five games with the following scores: 9-0, 11-0, 5- 0, 6-0 and 2-0 winning first place in the regional championship. The girls soccer team is coached by Kristian Powell, head coach, and Mindy Moulton, assistant. Team members are, back row from left, Yasmin Gonsolez, Emily Woods, Brooke Vansant, Morgan Jones, Kyra McConaghy, Delaney Watson, Carlie Roberts, middle row Susanna Williams, Monique Velasco, Jennifer Turnek, Samantha Lizotte, Sofia Lopez, Taylor Clark, and front row, Sabrina Apolista and Bailey Post.
