Minihorse Dreams
 A new business in town, Minihorse Dreams is offering two “mini” horses for parties and special occasions. Owner Joy Warner will bring Romeo and Juliet to your home or event in the Stanwood/Camano area for riding or simply for pictures. Romeo and Juliet were rescued on Christmas day, 2009. Romeo was a 1-year-old baby colt and Juliet was 3 years old. At the time they were pretty wild, Warner said. “Loving horses since childhood I thought how wonderful it would be to train them so we could share them with children.” Warner worked with them over the winter, with constant training and lots of love and treats. Now they are willing to do anything she asks. Warner presented the horses at the Fourth of July Parade and was thrilled with the results. “With all the flag waving, children running and cars backfiring, it was quite an experience for Romeo and Juliet.
