On January 20, our daughter, Ashlee Goos- Douglas was struck by a car as she attempted to cross East Camano Drive after getting off an Island Transit bus.
The accident was just that, a horrible accident, and we feel that we owe many thanks to the people who were able to help at the site, and who were supportive during the months afterward. Full Story

As a senior at Stanwood High School, I was required to plan, develop and execute a senior project.
I chose to do a bedroom makeover for a young girl. I was overwhelmed by the generous support and donations I received from local businesses and community members. Full Story

Thanks for the great fireworks show

On behalf of a half a dozen Camano and Stanwood residents who also brought out of town guests, we would like to thank the city of Stanwood for putting on the Fourth of July fireworks at Heritage Park this year.
