Ninety-six percent graduate on time

Reductions will impact reading

I was grateful for the editorial support of Stanwood/ Camano School District librarians as printed in the June 29 edition of your paper.
May I add some information regarding elementary librarians in our district?
As our school population decreases, along with our school revenues, two elementary schools have reduced their librarians. Full Story
For giving the gift of life
Dear Editor:
Did you know that by donating one pint of blood you can help save up to three lives?
Recently a blood drive hosted by the Stanwood- Camano School District Transportation Department registered 34 donors with the Puget Sound Blood Bank.
Of the 34 donors, 17 were first time donors.

I just completed my second year volunteering at Cedarhome Elementary School.
My initial experience two years ago with the red carpet and music caused me such joy and delight that I was prompted to write a letter.
