Old Time Fiddlers upcoming jams
The Old Time Fiddlers meets Fridays June 11 and 25, and July 23, at Sisco Heights Community Club, 13527 99th Ave. NE in Arlington., with a Celtic jam at 5 p.m., workshop at 6 p.m. and a circle jam at 7. Small stage show if anyone is up for it. Coffee, tea, juice, and snacks throughout the evening, for listeners and acoustic musicians of all ages (bring instruments). The annual camp-out at the Stanwood/Camano Fairgrounds is July 8-10, with stage shows 7 pm. Friday and Saturday and jamming and jumble sale throughout the weekend.
Veterans Fair to assist those who served
A Veterans Fair will be held Sat, June 12, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Frank H. Hancock American Legion Post 92, 26921 88th Ave. NW in Stanwood. Auditions open for ‘Idol’ contest

Quilt Museum offers textile enrichment

Camano Action for a Rural Environment will have its last regular meeting before a summer hiatus, 7 p.m. June 17 at the Terry’s Corner Windermere office, corner of Sunrise and SR 532/East Camano Drive. “Stock the Pantry” food drive at Bartell Drugs is helping to feed out-of-school children and families throughout the community, and will be accepting nonperishable food items and cash donations until June 13. The food drive, now in its second year, helps to replenish food stocks during summer months—when families that normally depend on free or reduced-price school meals may struggle to provide those meals at home.
