Purses stolen out of locked cars

Stanwood Police responded to the following calls last week:

• A window was broken May 21 out of a vehicle parked in the 7600 block of 273rd Street NW and the investigation continues.

• On May 23, two purses were stolen out of two different cars. A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW after a window was broken to gain entry and there were subsequent fraudulent uses of the debit card. Then down the street, at 6900 block of 265th Street NW, a window was broken in a parked vehicle and a purse was stolen.

• A 21-year-old Stanwood male was booked into jail May 21 for malicious mischief and domestic violence in the 28300 block of 83rd Drive NW. He was angry with his sister and damaged her property.

• A 21-year-old Anacortes woman was referred May 21 for harassment with threat to kill. She threatened the victim via telephone.

• A 15-year-old Camano Island girl in the 26600 block of 72nd Avenue NW was referred May 23 on theft charges.

• A harassment complaint was made May 24 in the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW when an exboyfriend was texting harassing messages.

• A 16-year-old Stanwood boy in the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW was booked May 25 on outstanding warrants.

• On May 25, a parent in the 28500 block of 72nd Drive NW reported his 14- year-old daughter as a runaway.

• A 52-year-old Stanwood woman was arrested May 25 in the 80000 block of 272nd Street NW on an outstanding warrant.

• A 27-year-old Stanwood man was arrested and booked into jail May 26 on malicious mischief charges for a disturbance in the 9200 block of 271st Street NW.

• A burglary occurred May 26 in the 9400 block of 271st Street NW, where unknown suspects entered and damaged several inside contents.

• On May 26, a parent in locked cars

the 8200 block of Henning Drive reported her runaway had returned.

• The theft of remote control vehicles, a toolbox and its contents in the 7200 block of 286th Place NW was reported May 27.
