Garret Larson, Trygve DeBoer, Matt Vail, Karl DeBoer, Brock Strieby, and Carson Bickford, Brandon Rhoden, Nate Kummer, and Dane Carlson are all members of the Stanwood Spartans 4th Grade Select basketball team who won the Snohomish County Select Basketball League last weekend, sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club. The Spartans finished 12-0 league play, and ended the season as champions of the tournament, beating previously undefeated Mukilteo Tigers 48 to 46.
