Natural Resources Camp
Teenagers with no plans for the summer might like to consider a week-long adventure to Natural Resources Youth Camp, which is set for June 20 - 26 at Cispus Learning Center near Randle for ages 12 – 16.
Founded in 1983 by career professionals in wildlife biology, forestry, soil conservation, geology and natural resource management, the NRYC has a resident camp manager, camp director, nurse, registrar, recreation coordinator, program coordinator, CIT Coordinator, at least three board members, six counselors-in-training, and a minimum of six counselors 24 hours per day.
Returning campers may consider Back-Country Adventure camp for ages 15 – 17 and Counselors-In- Training Leadership Camp for ages 16 – 18. Registration must be received by June 15.
