Architect student scholarships

Students who live in Island County are eligible to compete with students from Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan counties for $1,500 in scholarships from the Northwest Washington Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

Northwest Washington AIA awarded their first two scholarships in 2009 and due to a grant from the National AIA and a $5,000 anonymous gift; they are able to offer more this year.

Candidates must be entering their junior year or above at an accredited school of architecture. Applications are due July 1.
