Architect student scholarships
Students who live in Island County are eligible to compete with students from Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan counties for $1,500 in scholarships from the Northwest Washington Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Full Story

Aspiring basketball players have an opportunity to train with Western Washington University’s Viking men’s basketball players and coaches this summer. Boys ages 10-18 are encouraged to attend the individual fundamental camp August 1-4. Team camp is also available, June 29-July 2. Full Story
