Cat saga

Thanks for Maddie

Dear Editor:

Two years ago a cat showed up at my home and I took it in.

When I took it to a vet for a check up, I found it had a chip and learned the cat belonged to a lady in Snohomish County. I told the vet, the right thing to do was to call the lady.

She screamed and said that’s my Maddie, and immediately came to get her.

I kissed the cat goodbye and cried for several days. I thought life was over and my little dog wouldn’t eat.

Several days later, the phone rang and it was the angel. She said, I want you to have the cat. She knew how I loved the cat. What a wonderful woman. Even her little children agreed. What wonderful teaching they are getting.

I want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you and God bless you.

By the way, Maddie is settling in great and our hearts are happy again.
