Trisha Poe (left) of Golden Paws, Catherine Standley (center) of Character Traits, and firefighter Will King (right) offer a fundraiser to support the Stanwood Camano Fire Department’s new honor guard, established just last year. The gaurd needs training and equipment, according to King, their leader. From her business, Standley donated a firefighter outfit and a giant stuffed Dalmatian as prizes for children, in an effort to get kids involved in the project.
