Stanwood motorcyclist dies in collision
A collision on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Smokey Point (milepost 204) claimed the life of Scott Weber of Stanwood on Wednesday.
Weber, 51, was driving his motorcycle in the right lane when a construction truck pulled off the far-right shoulder in front of him, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).

Two boats, three days, one sneaking suspicion
A trail of abandoned boats, leading from San Juan Island to Lopez Island to Camano Island, sparked suspicion that Colton Harris-Moore might be giving up flying for a while, choosing instead a mode of transport that doesn’t require crash landings.
