I lift up my eyes to Jesus
“I lift up my eyes to the hills, from where does my help come, my help comes from the Lord who has made the heaven and the earth.” Psalm 121: 1-2
I am often captivated by Mt. Baker, the Cascades and the Olympics. They surround us. What a powerful sight. They are there, even on cloudy days when we can’t see them. There have, indeed, been dark days with political unrest and an unstable economy.
We are again reminded of how Jesus is our anchor for our lives and our world. He is our peace, our courage for today and our hope. He is the One who does not change. He is our certainty for tomorrow. We look to Jesus and celebrate His power and His love.
