3rd at State
 In April, Stanwood’s FFA agricultural sales teams placed first and fourth in the district contest held at the high school. The rankings allowed them to compete in the 80th annual Washington FFA state convention May 13-15 at Washington State University in Pullman. Team one, consisting of Kaity Hampton, Alexa Flem, Andrew Salmon and Scott Weisse, led the way to a third place finish out of 25 teams. The members of team two, Thor Pearson, Matt Crane, Eric Carius and Maria Schatz, finished eighth in the contest.
