CIFR calls January through April

Camano Island Fire and Rescue reports a total of 592 calls since the beginning of the year.

In April they made 142 calls: medical 102, motor vehicle accidents 5, residential fire 3, one commercial fire, two brush fires, service call 9, assist utility 20.

In March they made 151 calls: medical 112, assist utility 10, motor vehicle accidents 4, residential fire 7, two commercial fires, one brush fire, two marine calls, and 11 service calls, a single Hazmat call and one aircraft incident .

In February, 117 calls: medical 95, motor vehicle accidents 5, fire alarm 1, residential fire 6, commercial fire 3, marine 2, service call 3, and they assisted utilities twice.

In January they made 182 calls: 118 medical calls, four motor vehicle accidents, fire alarm 2, residential fire 8, commercial fire 2, two brush fires, two car fires, marine 3, service call 16, assist utility 24, and one Hazmat call.
