Rustic Impressions
We hung in as long as we could
Dear Editor:
Five years ago we went on a venture to bring to Stanwood a new concept in home decor and furnishings.
We thought it was a great time and opportunity to open a little store in the east end of town and offer the community a place to shop locally and enjoy some old fashioned “customer service and sincerity.”
As our business grew, along with the wonderful relationships we gained, the economy went the other direction. Home sales began to fall dramatically, money has become much tighter and the general public has experienced a recession that most of us have never seen.
We have watched many small Stanwood businesses close their doors and move on, but we hung in there. Sadly, it is time for us to follow the trend. We have run this business with one goal in mind — to expand our interior design abilities, and share them with the great customers who came to our store to share our friendship.
We want to thank all of our loyal customers who stopped by and picked up a few things, or just visited. We love all of you and wish you well.
We are closing on June 1, so stop by, say hello, and enjoy our closing sale. We are both empty nesters, our children are raised, and we look forward to spending more time with our spouses.
Thanks again Stanwood patrons.
