Over the past two weeks, the Lady Spartan golfers have competed in three matches.

The short-handed group scored a combined 64 points using the modified Stableford scoring system while playing Oak Harbor (127 points) and Lake Stevens (110) at the Battle Creek Golf Course.

Jade Borseth, Madison Soth and Kelsie Anderson led the local effort with 16, 15 and 15 points, respectively, over the first 11 holes of the course. Devyn Bell (11) and fellow sophomore Leslie Lawrence (7) also represented the Spartans.

Last Tuesday afternoon the Sparts scored 41 points to Arlington’s 56 counters at the girls’ home turf, Camaloch Golf Course.

Borseth and Soth once again paced the Spartans with 15 Stableford points apiece. Bell (11) and Lawrence (6) followed.

During Thursday’s trimeet with Oak Harbor (229 points) and Everett (219) at the Whidbey Golf Course, the team scored 74 points over 18 holes. This time Borseth totaled 30 Stableford points while Soth (18), Anderson (18) and Lawrence (10) golfed for the local contingent as well.
