Mayor Dianne White stands in a dumpster while hosting the city’s Operation Clean Sweep on Saturday. The city provided dumpsters for recycle, yard waste and trash, and invited residents to bring waste from their homes. Shredding services were available at city hall. Volunteers also dispersed to various sites around town that were in need of a little beautification. White said she was happy the city could provide this service to its residents again this year.
