Lady Spartan tracksters outrace, out-throw Gulls, Panthers
By once again accumulating massive amounts of points in the distances and in the throwing events, the Lady Spartan track and field team ran away from their two competitors to rack up another WesCo 4A North victory last week.

Soccer team splits shoot outs, wins another 1-0
The Spartan boys’ soccer team (7-4-2, fourth place in WesCo North) avoided the dreaded game-deciding shootout in the last of three matches last week, and used the opportunity to beat Monroe 1-0 Saturday morning. Full Story
Kid’s Hershey Track Meet set for May 8
The annual kids’ Hershey Track and Field Meet will be held Friday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stanwood High School track.
Participants must be 9 to 14 years old as of Dec. 31 this year.

Megan Lalone, undefeated this season, paced the Lady Spartan low netters (9-1 in league and overall) to three narrow, yet solid victories over league foes last week. Those wins assured that the Sparts would remain in first place another week. Full Story
Borseth paces Lady Spartan golfers in WesCo meet
Jade Borseth’s Stableford score of 27 proved to be the Lady Spartan golfers’ best in last week’s match with Everett and Snohomish.
The Sparts took third
behind the Seagulls (179 points) and the Panthers (167) with 97 points over 13 holes of play at the Legion Memorial Golf Course on
