Top county official resigns
Snohomish County Deputy Executive Mark Soine, 59, resigned as senior adviser and administrator to Executive Aaron Reardon.
The news came Monday during a weekly cabinet meeting.

Deadline for Van GO
Nonprofit groups in Snohomish County have until April 30 to apply for a surplus van from Community Transit. Twelve vehicles will be awarded in June to Snohomish County nonprofit groups that primarily serve residents in CT’s service areas. The Van GO grant program was established 10 years ago. Full Story
