City administrator put on leave

Joyce Papke, city administrator, was put on administrative leave last Monday, Mayor Dianne White said.
The city’s attorney, Grant Weed, drafted the letter of notice to Papke over the weekend, White said. The letter details that there is to be no contact between Papke and city officials until the undisclosed matter is resolved.
White declined to comment further.
Papke was hired by the city of Stanwood in July 2008, and has been instrumental in the city’s functioning since then.
