Natasha Verma, a long-distance runner for Stanwood High for the past four seasons, signs a national letter of intent to the University of Portland where she will run cross country and compete for the Pilots’ track and field team beginning this fall. Verma has represented the Spartans at state in both sports, finishing seventh each of the past two state cross country championships in Pasco.
