Schmidt plays in All-State hoops game

Stanwood High School’s Kale Schmidt participated in the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association All- State Game at Mountlake Terrace High School recently.
The senior guard started for the 4A team and scored 14 points, third highest total for his team. The Class 3A team beat the 4A club 121-111.
Schmidt, a three-sport scholar athlete, has signed a letter of intent to participate on the University of Washington’s track team beginning next year.
