LISA MARIE (WOlFE) BURNS
APRIl 6, 1971 - MaRCH 27, 2010
Lisa Marie (Wolfe) Burns, loving wife, mother, daughter and devoted follower of Christ went home to be with her Savior unexpectedly March 27, 2010, from a brain aneurysm.
Lisa was born April 6, 1971, in Lebanon, Ore.
She is survived by her husband Walter “Duffy” Burns, whom she respected greatly and loved with an unending love.
She is also survived by her children Lucas, Nichole and Jennifer, her mother Elaine Coughlin Goeschl and stepfather Stephen; her father Don Wolfe and stepmother Tricia, brother Brian and sister-in-law April Wolfe and their four children, Paige, Addy, Samuel, and Bailey, whom she loved deeply; her brothers Brandon Wolfe, Cody Goeschl and sister Stephanie Goeschl; paternal grandmother Sally Wolfe whom Lisa admired and treasured, paternal grandfather John Coughlin, and a host of extended family.
Lisa had one main passion in her life: to serve God by loving Jesus Christ. She loved His word and His church. Because of this passion, Lisa was able to care deeply for those around her, particularly her family and all children.
Lisa served for many years as a Bible study fellowship children’s leader at Pinehurst Baptist Church in Everett, where she was much loved, respected and admired.
She desired for all children to know God’s love.
Lisa graduated from Marysville-Pilchuck High School in 1989.
She was an employee of Albertson’s in Everett where she cared for many people, both employees and those who came through her check-stand.
Lisa will be remembered by all who knew her for her love for Jesus, her love for children, her humble desire to serve everyone with whom she came in contact, and her desire to point them all to Christ.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10 at First Presbyteri- an Church of Bellevue, 1717 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue. Please bring your written memories for the family to treasure.
