Health care

Offer a solution with your opinions

Dear Editor:

Regarding your March 23 editorial, “Health care coverage for all by 2014,” these are good and valid reasons to be opposed to the legislation as passed without being part of a partisan minority.

You applaud, by implication, the 1965 expansion of Medicare and Medicaid coverage, yet look at the financial disaster they have become.

My opinion is that those of you who are enthusiastic about this legislation should offer your readers your ideas about how it is to be paid for.

Not some government estimates, which have proven to be, over and over, grossly wrong, but your own thoughtful, reasoned opinion.

Without that, your editorials lack substance and objectivity.
