Two-vehicle wreck at Terry’s Corner

A two-vehicle collision at Terry’s Corner on Thursday afternoon sent two people on a precautionary trip to the hospital, said Levon Yengoyan, assistant chief of Camano Island Fire and Rescue. Airbags deployed on the vehicle that struck the signal pole, and Yengoyan said, “anytime you see that kind of extensive damage to a vehicle, you know the human bodies inside have undergone a great deal of stress.” There were five people involved in the collision — one person in the truck and four in the van.
