Flamenco at Merrill Gardens
A world-renowned flamenco guitarist, Enrique Henao will perform at Merrill Gardens 4:30 - 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 20. Originally from South America, Henao has recorded platinum albums, appeared on Merv Griffin’s talk show, and has worked with Quincy Jones and house majority leader Steny Hoyer, to get music programs back into public schools.
His great knowledge of the world’s music makes him not only a versatile artist, but a true citizen of the world. Henao has been a touring artist for the Washington State Arts Commission Cultural Enrichment Program since 1981, combining his mastery as a composer, arranger, singer and guitarist.
