Western Washington University’s Everett-based weekend Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is accepting applications now for the next cohort of students who will begin classes in January 2011.

Program details will be provided at an information session at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13 at University Center of North Puget Sound, Gray Wolf Hall-Room 156, 2000 Tower St., on the campus of Everett Community College.

Western’s Weekend MBA in Everett program provides a high-quality graduate business education taught faceto face by Western faculty. The program features a high level of student-faculty interaction and small class sizes that meet Friday afternoonevening and all day Saturday of every other weekend for eight quarters, with traditional quarter breaks.

Participants will receive broad exposure to the skills needed by the professional manager through a rigorous, integrated program that focuses on analytical, theoretical, and interpersonal skills, with a balance of theory and application essential for managerial effectiveness.

“I’m impressed with Western’s Weekend MBA program in Everett. The convenient location, outstanding instruction and flexibility of meeting on alternating weekends provides students the opportunity to balance work, family and their pursuit of an MBA,” said Juergen Kneifel, a WWU Weekend MBA student. “The program is tailored to meet the needs of professional working adults.”

Western is ranked by U.S. News and World Report as the Top Public Master’s-Granting School in the Pacific Northwest, and is rated nationally among the 100 best values in education by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine.
