Thompson’s candidacy marks the first time in 16 years that voters will be given a choice on their ballots.

New manager for Snohomish Conservation District
Monte Marti has been selected to be the new district manager of the Snohomish Conservation District.
Marti comes to the district after more than 25 years as a manager with Verizon Northwest. He served as a member on the district’s volunteer board of supervisors for the past 25 years and worked for the district for a short time in the 1980s. Full Story
