Teen boy sent to Denny for burglary, malicious mischief, and minor in possession of alcohol

Stanwood Police responded to the following incidents last week.

• A 15-year-old Stanwood boy was arrested March 22, and booked into Denny Youth Center on charges of burglary, theft malicious mischief and minor in possession and consumption of alcohol after gaining entry into a business in the 7200 block of 267th Street NW.

• A wallet found in the county March 18 was turned into the police department.

• March 18, a despondent Stanwood woman was contacted in the 9900 block of 272nd Place NW and transported for treatment.

• A window was damaged March 19 on a home in the 10000 block of 271st Street NW.

• A 31-year-old Stanwood woman in the 8700 block of 271st Street NW was arrested March 19 and booked into jail on warrants.

• A cell phone was stolen March 19 from the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW.

• On March 20, a 79- year-old Stanwood woman passed away in her home in the 27300 block of 76th Drive NW. She had extensive medical issues.

• A despondent Stanwood man was contacted March 20 in the 27300 block of 101st Avenue NW and transported for treatment.

• A 29-year-old Stanwood man was arrested March 20 and booked into jail for domestic violence assault after assaulting his wife in the 7800 block of 265th Street NW.

• On March 21, parents in the 7400 block of Centerville Court reported their 15-yearold son had run away.

• An 18-year-old Lynnwood woman was referred March 21 for driving with a suspended license in the 10400 block of SR 532.

• An unlocked vehicle was prowled March 22 and the vehicle registration was taken from the 10100 block of 269th Place NW.

• Two vehicles collided March 23 in the 10300 block of 269th Place NW. The impact forced the hit vehicle into two unoccupied parked vehicles before coming to rest on the sidewalk.

• A business in the 27100 block of 102nd Drive NW reported March 23 that someone had spray painted on the side of their building and on a reader board sign.

• On March 23 a driver collided with a vehicle in front of him in the 9800 block of SR 532. He stated he had been looking at a parked vehicle alongside the road and could not stop in time.

• A 47-year-old Stanwood male in the 27000 block of 92nd Avenue NW was referred March 23 for driving with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle without ignition interlock and failure to transfer title within 45 days.

• On March 23, an IPOD was stolen from an unlocked locker in the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW.

• On March 24, a vehicle was impounded from the 8700 block of 272nd Street NW after it had been tagged two weeks prior.

• Some clothing was found March 24 in the 8500 block of Cedarhome Road.

• A vehicle stolen March 24 from the 7200 block of 267th Street NW was later recovered in the county.

• Two vehicles collided March 25 in the 10200 block of 271st Street NW. The driver trailing stated his dog jumped on him, causing a distraction.
